Teachers Sup****t Network (TSN) offers a comprehensive solution to K–12
teachers looking for employment. In addition to searching for jobs from
school districts nationwide, both new and experienced teachers will find
a wealth of useful information, including job-hunting advice, teacher
tools, and timely articles and comment. Teaching candidates are never
charged for using the service—Teachers Sup****t Network’s entire system
is always free to teachers.
To cite but one example: TSN is representing the City of New York
Department of Education (NYC DOE) in staffing thousands of teaching jobs
for the start of the new school year in September, 2007. Interview are
being conducted in different locations throughout the country as well as
in Canada; set so far are sessions in Charlottesville, VA, San Antonio
and Austin, TX, MD (exact location TBD), Seattle, WA, and Toronto and
Vancouver. In addition, interviews are being conducted on an ongoing
basis at the NYC DOE headquarters in Brooklyn, NY.
Only candidates that are already certified in NY or one of its many
reciprocal states (or will be by 9/07, i.e. graduating) in the critical
shortage areas of Math, Science, Speech, Special Education, Bilingual
Education and/or Foreign Language will be invited to interview. (Note
that if you are already registered with Teachers Sup****t Network, there
