Bass could be in a pickle over "security alarm systems" dot "us" at
the moment if Security Alarm Systems Inc. (Florida registered company)
decided his use of the name constituted infringement of trademark or
name. Using "kantech" would be almost as bad as someone registering
Brinks.org or Brinks.info (that wasn't from "Brinks").
