I think that Secretary Michael Chertoff is saying he has a gut feeling
because the administration won't let him say what he knows and their is
really something big coming and he knows it, but he is not allowed to say.
It sounds like he is trying to create some cover for himself in the event
that something happens and someone says that he knew...he would honestly
be
able to say he tried to warn us all, but nobody would listen. If nothing
happens then he can say he never actually said something would happen...he
just had a feeling that something may happen. Either way he's covered all
his bases. I tend to think this is actually the best thing he probably can
do.
