I'm using the Verifire 1020 software and the ULDL utility but I am
unable to get past "requesting system information" when trying to
upload from my panel to my laptop. I have the HK kit assembled and
connected to P5 on the SIB2048. I know the com ****t is working,
because when it isn't you immediately get a communications error.
The HK kit instructions say the panel should go into a trouble
condition when you disconnect the plug on P5 to attach the kit. This
doesn't happen. My normal P5 plug only has a ground connection so
that might be why I don't get any troubles when disconnecting it.
I can capture re****ts using a cable I made to connect to P3 per
Notifier's instructions and Hyperterm, but that is a receive only
connection. I have about 400 devices spread over 4 panels that I need
to update labels for and changing by hand at the panel sucks.
Any ideas why I can't get it to upload?
