How do you make a choice?
On what basis do you decide?
In what way is your will free?
What are the limits?

You mistake determinism with determinability.
We are all determined to act according to our genes, knowledge,
experience and situation. The complexity of humans makes predicting
these actions with accuracy and certainty impossible. This does not
deny determinism, and leaves no room for free-will.
Free-will does not exist. though I freely wish to be conveyed on a
cloud with a dozen maidens waiting on me hand and foot it is not going
to happen. I am bound by my conceptual horizon and the possibilities
of my environment. My choices are determined by what I know and what
my motiation is.
I cannot escape my motivation, thankfully.
