No, ethical "knowledge" is not the same kind of knowledge as empirical
knowledge. Ethical knowledge has to to with freedom, empirical
knowledge has causality at its basis.

Freedom is - in Kants system - the "ratio essendi" of the ethical law,
but the ethical law is the "ratio cognoscendi" of freedom. In nature
there is no freedom of choice. For us the essential form of nature is
causality, we know it by (physical) _laws_.
