Is would not (only) defeat the very purpose of trust, it would defeat
_reason_ itself. (as I see it) and that is _much_ worse. Reason itself
is supposed to be universal. The categorical imperative is an
inference of reason itself. Reason is not an instrument that can give
other results in the hands of different persons because if that would
be the case, than one has to distrust his own reason as well.
