I got similar results at nearby Horse Pen Creek I think it was.
Goldvein was all lode deposits, that doesn't always end up in the
streams.
Try Rappahonick River, I did better there in low water. Still, to get
to bedrock exposures, I was walking through the water sometimes waist
deep. Got a few flakes, you might get civil war era lead too, that
was a prominent fighting area.
