Surprised to find some replies.
I almost gave up on the thread,
and started looking at the panning forums.
Wish I lived near Dahlonega, Robert.
I'm in Vidalia, GA.
Barely a mineral here that's anything interesting.
Although did read that there is titanium south of here.
Still getting gear and learning about navigating.
Have gps, compass and metal detector(that sat in a closet 3 years).
