You probably know about fossil shark
teeth at Westmoreland State Park in VA.
In MD there is good gold panning in Rock Run
near Potomac, MD just North of DC. I may be
able to show you around depending on schedules.
In VA the Central Virginia Gold Prospectors
have some good gold panning claims about 1 hour South
of Charlottesville
