I assume many, if not most, of the readers of this newsgroup are law
enforcement personnel and I have a question for them:
What information/details regarding crime, arrests and traffic
incidents in the local coimmunity are ordinary citizens typically
entitled to be given by local police upon request?
The reason I ask is that many times newspaper re****ts re****t crime
incidents, arrests of suspects and traffic incidents but these re****ts
do not provide names of those arrested or other details. As a citizen
of the community I would like to have more information regarding
suspects (for example, their immigration status and rap sheets, if
any.)
