My driver's licence was suspended due to non payment of $5k fine 5
years ago while driving w/o valid ins. in Ontairo. Got nabbed in a
minor traffic accident and my car was towed (impound lot wanted $3k
per mo. storage fees so I had to let it go. Couldn't pay the fine or
$2k damages to other vechicle.
Bankrupt, lost my job, became homeless and developed a growing disdain
for society at large.
Had a major nervous breakdown.... nowere to turn to for advice, help
or even consideration by the establishment,family, or friends (ha. go
broke and see peoples true colors!)
I've been living like a recluse.... renting a house from my mother as
she wintered in Fla.
She has now sold the property to sustain her material lifestyle and
once again I am next to homeless, and severely depressed to the point
of giving up.
For five years I've tried to come up with some alternative means of
employment (most jobs require a valid driver's licence). My rural
location does not have ant public trans or taxi.
I'm now trying to get my licence reinstated somehow...without funds
from any source.
Can't afford a lawer or court fees etc to even attempt an appeal.
Apparently If I lay low another five years the susspention will
automatically come off my record.
sheesh! Am I supposed to give up all hope.
Any advise would be appreciated
