rear-ended Figueroa's van."
In actuality -- as is made clear by reading the rest of the re****t
-- the *attacker* who was driving the Chrysler which rear-ended the
van was named Figueroa. The armed American driver of the van who was
attacked by Figueroa, and who consequently shot Figuera dead, was
named Thompson.]
