Often I see job ads requesting Adobe CS "proficiency" (or similar wording).
Are the employers creating those "ploppy" looking renderings, where the
light sources are inconsistent?
That seems an almost trivial (and ugly) use of a raster image editor.
A few years ago, I saw a set of renderings created by graphics specialist.
All components were well merged, with consistent
lighting. I think they used either a huge database of real objects, or a
large database of "3d" objects. For example, the cars were
real cars (Camrys, etc) so I assumed the graphics people used one of the
programs that creates an infinitely positionable
database object from photo data.
I'd like to see a sample of employer expectations - residential and
commercial/public.
If anyone has links, they'd be much appreciated.
