How deep should the earth be for a good lawn

by jphilbrow@[EMAIL PROTECTED] May 27, 2006 at 01:06 PM

Hello,

I have a concrete slab ontop of my garrage and I want to put mold
(earth) ontop of it and plant grass to make a lawn. I have two
questions regarding this: 1.) how deep should the earth be, and 2.) do
I need to do anything special about drainage? (i.e. a layer of 5 cm.
gravel on the bottom?).
Any help would be apprcieated. Thanks
