MECHANICAL TRAINING ENGINEER COORDINATOR
(Water Maintenance)

Location: Qatar
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Water
transmission and distribution maintenance experience. Wide knowledge of
junior staff work in the service of equipment, maintenance and operational
field. Minimum of 5 years in related profession. Must have prior
hands-on
teaching experience. Must be a US or Canadian citizen.
Job Duties: Technical teaching of those training to be Mechanical
Engineers
or Technicians (maintenance), or those developing their technical skills.
Oversee candidate screening activities to include: identification,
do***entation knowledge, skills and abilities against official job
descriptions to determine appropriate test methodologies or tools to
ensure
the relevance of the training for which the candidate is recommended for.
Hands-on supervision with direct and daily involvement in: Advising
employees/trainees on suitable training courses in their development.
Build/revise training curriculum to match student's technical expertise.
Develop IDP's, monitor their implementation and updates as necessary.
Evaluate learning/skills gains made by course participants. Evaluate and
make recommendations for promotion/advise Team Leader when promotion is
appropriate. Maintain records of training for those he career counsels.
Attend meetings on site - departments and contractors. May design,
conduct,
record and analyze tests. Propose test modifications and retesting.
Develop
and administer student examinations and skill evaluations as part of a
certification program. Occasionally write and produce course materials and
other do***entation, possibly using distance-learning technologies to
sup****t users. Ensure course selection conforms to health and safety
standards. *****s learner performance. Provide feedback to course
developers and Team Leader. Coordinate with Program Coordinator and
management and cognizant outside government or private institutions or
authorities for the purpose of finalizing travel arrangements of staff
that
are attending outside/overseas training, workshops or any other related
activities or functions to training and continuing staff-development
activities of company.
