Hi friends,
Plant Operation & Maintenance Club is conducting a series of seminars
by innovatively using the message board, which you all are familiar
with. The topic of their forth coming seminar is "Prevention of
Chronic Failures", which will start from 15th September 2004 and will
continue till 31st October 2004.
Mr. V Narayan, the author of "Effective Maintenance Management - Risk
and Reliability Strategies for Optimizing Performance", is going to
join this seminar as the Chief Guest. Mr. Narayan led the Maintenance
Strategy group in Shell UK Exploration and Production.
The host of this seminar, Mr. S K Chatterjee from HPCL - Mumbai and
the other participating experts will lead an extensive discussion on
the philosophy and objectives of failure analysis and the practical
approach to carry out failure analysis. Some of the Non-conventional
techniques to implement remedial measures and interesting case studies
will also be discussed in this seminar.
This forum is meant for the entire engineering community and any one
from this community can join this seminar.
